Healing Is Here

We use our unique training and every tool necessary to find the problem and fix it.

Active Release Technique (ART)

Active release technique (ART) is a patented, state-of-the-art soft tissue system/movement based massage technique that treats overuse conditions in the muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with ART.

Every ART session is a combination of examination and treatment. We first evaluate the texture, tightness and movement of muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments and nerves, and then combine precisely directed tension with very specific patient movements. These treatment protocols (more than 500 specific moves) allow us to identify and correct the specific problems that are affecting each individual patient.

Emotion Code and Body Code Therapies

This has become one of the most highly sought after forms of treatment in our office. The mind and body are deeply connected and cannot be viewed as separate entities. You might think that you’ve dealt with a traumatic event from the past and moved on, but your body remembers.

With Emotion Code and Body Code therapies, we are able to release trapped emotions and not only see physical restoration in our patients, but also relief from emotional triggers, anxiety and depression.

Dry Needling/Acupuncture

Integrative dry needling is one of the most powerful therapies available for treating sports-related pain and chronic pain syndromes.
This is performed by inserting filament needles into the soft tissues (skin, muscles, fascia, tendon and ligament, etc) to activate the healing process, resulting in pain relief and restoration of healthy physiology. Acupuncture is an assessment and treatment technique that utilizes certain points on the skin along channels of energy known as meridians. By using tiny needles, the points on the skin can be stimulated to restore energy and improve the balance of your body. The twelve main meridians coordinate with specific organs in your body. Balancing these elements along with chiropractic alignments is extremely beneficial in reducing pain, stress, and emotional imbalances that can manifest as physical symptoms.

Graston & FAKTR Techniques

These are excellent techniques for treating soft-tissue and overuse injuries.

Originally developed by athletes, Graston Technique® is an interdisciplinary treatment used by thousands of clinicians worldwide, including physical and occupational therapists, chiropractors, and athletic trainers. The technique utilizes specially designed stainless steel instruments to specifically detect and effectively treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis or chronic inflammation.

Unlike Active Release Technique where the patient must be able to actively move their body for treatment, Graston Technique allows us to treat acute and painful conditions where the patient is unable to actively move on their own. Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehab (FAKTR) takes Graston to a whole new level by implementing painful positions, load, movement, and proprioception to achieve even greater results.

NeuroKinetic Therapy® NKT

NeuroKinetic Therapy® (NKT) is a breakthrough assessment system that addresses movement patterns which are stored in the brain, and are the…

actual cause of pain in many cases. Soft tissue treatments like ART, Graston Technique, FAKTR, dry needling, and massage can be very productive, but if your symptoms continue to return, then NKT is an appropriate treatment option.

NKT works by engaging the motor-control center of the brain. Musculoskeletal pain is often caused by neurological imbalances where some muscles are overstimulated, and others are understimulated. Using manual muscle testing, we can often “reprogram” the neuromuscular patterns in the brain, and help the understimulated muscles begin to fire again, relieving the patient of recurring pain and imbalance.

Proprioceptive Deep
Tendon Reflex (P-DTR)

Our bodies have millions of sensory receptors that communicate to our brain what we’re experiencing (pain, pressure, hot, cold etc.).

When we experience trauma, what often happens is a disconnect between the brain and the body, and we begin experiencing issues like symptoms that seem to come out of nowhere, or previous injuries that were once resolved and then come back with a vengeance.

With P-DTR, we use manual muscle testing and specific neural challenges to target these receptors, and “rewire” the brain to function normally, restoring optimal movement patterns. Patients will often experience a quick response to long-lasting issues. P-DTR typically results in permanent pain relief, increased range of movement, strength and stamina.

Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA)

Many times when we are experiencing musculoskeletal pain or limitations in our stability, mobility and function, other parts of the body will pick up…

the slack and compensate for the restricted area. You might be experiencing pain in your knee, but the impairment is located in a completely different area of the body that seems unrelated.

SFMA is a series of seven full-body movement tests designed to assess fundamental patterns of movement such as bending and squatting, and identify where the dysfunction is occurring. Once we identify the cause, we can use manual therapy and corrective exercises, individualized to the patient, to help relieve their pain and restore balanced movement.

Cranial Facial
Release (CFR)

Cranial Facial Release (CFR) is an advanced endo-nasal cranial technique that has been used successfully to treat various neurological and structural disorders.

We insert tiny balloons in the patient’s nose (specifically the nasopharynx), and then quickly inflate them to mobilize the cranial bones. It feels very similar to the sensation experienced when one jumps into a swimming pool and gets water up their nose. The whole procedure takes about 2 to 3 seconds, with a total of 4 treatments completed throughout a 7-10 day period.

Many patients suffering from migraines, Bell’s Palsy, Tinnitus, insomnia, seizures, TMJ, anxiety and depression, have found relief with CFR treatment.
